Are We Ever Really Safe?

Today I am dedicating my blog to my best friend and her family. Her 14-year old nephew was attacked and killed by two other teenagers while riding his bike on Saturday afternoon. I have known this boy since he was a baby and am completely in shock about what happened. He is being buried as I write this. Unfortunately, living 7 hours away I was not able to get there for the services.

This didn't happen in the inner city or the ghetto - it happened in the suburbs. In broad daylight. So tragic and senseless.

So please pray for Christopher Jones and the family that is mourning him today.
